EVERWARM® weighed more and tested tops for softness compared to other cotton flannel sheets. EVERWARM® also ranks highest for warmth (most heat insulation) and smoothness, making it one of the top three sheets in our rigorous testing process.

In our RealFeel lab, we evaluate eight key qualities—temperature, breathability, weight, body, texture, suppleness, friction and moisture transference—after all chemical softeners are washed out. Unique algorithms identify sheets scoring highest in softness and temperature control, particularly in ensuring warmth and dryness over time.

Comfort is subjective but objective testing can measure it.  Companies like Nike use methods to evaluate fabric quality and performance. Sheets.com uses similar tools and tested over 150 different sheets for softness and temperature control.

  • Wash before use to fluff the fuzzy surface, which compresses during shipping.
  • Machine wash warm. Avoid hot water as flannel’s special yarns and brushing process makes it
    especially susceptible to shrinkage. Hot water, combined with the agitation of washing also creates pills (tangled fiber balls).
  • Use half the detergent to prevent re-soiling. Safe with chlorine or non-chlorine bleach.
  • Don't wash with towels or clothing, especially zippers, to prevent flannel pilling.
  • Cold rinse, twice if possible to remove excess detergent.
  • No fabric softeners - they make flannel feel waxy and reduce breathability.
  • Tumble dry cool and remove when a bit damp. When dry fabric tumbles against itself in the dryer, the heat leads to shrinkage, pilling, excess lint, and reduced fabric durability. A few clean tennis balls help reduce abrasion and minimize pilling. Don’t over-dry!

  • Vinegar: wash occasionally with half a cup of white vinegar to help prevent pilling and deeply clean your flannel sheets.


Note: Don’t worry about excess lint, which stops after the first few washes.

Everwarm sheets are generously cut oversize to allow for 3-4% shrinkage, which occurs in the first few washes. Wash before use for optimal fit.

  • The Secret to Europe's soft beds? Add a flannel sheet between your flat sheet and comforter or quilt or blanket. For extra softness year-round!
  • In hot or humid climates, use a flat flannel sheet as a lightweight, absorbent sheet-blanket
  • Flannel sheets cling to flannel pajamas; pick one or the other -- don't use both together!

Flannel in Florida

I heard about these sheets on the Tom Drake podcast. These are the best flannel sheets my Wife and I have ever had!. Besides being warm, the smoothness and consistency of this material is especially comfy on my face. We are extremely happy with the quality and fast delivery! We will be ordering the Easy Breezy for the upcoming Summer months.

So nice and warm

these are my favorite sheets. They are so comfortable and warm. I only need the sheet and a comforter and it keeps me plenty warm. the white color is nice to go with all my different comforters I like to switch out.

Warm andsoft!

The sheets are incredibly soft and silky and I can sleep on them without feeling like my concoctions are rubbing off on them. My legs are pretty spotty right now and theyre still moisturized from the coconut oil when I wake up. Theres also no residue or oil marks on the sheets. My husband does not have psoriasis, but he also really likes the sheets. He likes that theyre light and cool for the summer time. Were able to sleep most nights without the AC and dont wake up in a pool of sweat. We wash them weekly and the texture/softness of the sheets does not change.

I've had countless sheets and pillowcases of this ultrasoft Flannel, and don't plan to every buy any other type of bedding. Not only are they great for all seasons (warm and cozy in cold weather, and breathable and comfy in hot weather) but they will never pill, fade or look raggedy.

These sheets are wonderful unlike any Ive owned. soft warm and cozy. these are going to be a winter staple in my house !! Perfect for the cold nights and for once I'm looking forward to winter time. The white color is bright and cheery.
